The Black Heart

The Black Heart is an entity of pure Darkness found in the mission The Black Garden. Though it is not classified as an enemy in gameplay, its status as a living thing and its importance in the lore make it deserving of the classification. This entity is guarded by the Sol Divisive, who found it so incomprehensible that their only conclusion was to worship it. The Heart was the final “boss” of Destiny’s vanilla campaign, where it possessed the Sol Progeny to stop the player.
